Things to Know for Friday
Parking & Bus Drop-off
Upon entering campus, follow the signs to SURC parking in F Lot, C Lot and in front of Kelly's Agway. Buses will drop off at Suffolk Circle at Bouck Ballroom and then park in P Lot. Maps & Directions >
Registration & Check-in
All presenters and guests should check-in at Bouck Ballroom. Registrants will be given a SURC ID & program, information pertinent to their presentations, and a lunch coupon. Guests will receive an ID and the option to purchase a lunch coupon ($8, options include the Food Truck offerings, or a healthy soup & salad option).
Oral Presentation & Poster Presenters info
Each oral presentation session will consist of 4 presenters and a chair facilitator. Each presentation will be 10 minutes and then Q&A. The chair will make introductions, keep the time, and facilitate the Q&A. Some sessions that include short films will allow 20 minutes for each with Q&A facilitated by the chair.
All the presentation spaces are equipped with a computer, internet, and projector. It is recommended that you bring your presentation also on an USB as back up. If you are using a Mac laptop, also bring a VGA adaptor.
Foam cord boards & clips will be on each easle. Students can transport their posters rolled up and clip to easel boards.
There will be a secure poster holding area at the Library front desk. Don’t worry about lugging your poster around all day – check it at the library and pick it up when you are ready!
There will be shuttle service between Bouck and CANR.
An interfaith prayer & meditation room is located on the second floor of the library.
