About Howard: Howard got his start in EMS as a volunteer EMT with Five Quad Volunteer Ambulance Service on the University at Albany campus while obtaining his bachelor’s degree in 1996. He came to SUNY Cobleskill in 2010 after a successful 12-year career in EMS Education and Administration in the Albany area. A Life Member of Western Turnpike Rescue Squad in Guilderland, Howard is Director of the SUNY Cobleskill Paramedic Program and remains an active provider as a Paramedic Supervisor with the Albany County Sheriff’s Office EMS Unit and as a Paramedic with Ticonderoga Emergency Squad.
