About Lynda: My undergraduate background was in biology and philosophy while my graduate background was in environmental medicine with a focus in Oncology, the study of cancer and tumors, with a specialty in radiation induced skin tumors and epithelial cell kinetics. However, my research interests at Cobleskill have been Salary equity, STEM programming for middle and high school students, including designing and directing CSI camps, RNA interference in C. elegans, and EGCG (green tea extract) antioxidant effects on lipids. I have been the founding advisor since 2001 for the Pre Vet Club on campus and most of my advisees are pre vet and pre med students.
