Homecoming 2015: A Weekend for Alumni & Parents

Join us for a great day of fun for students, alumni, faculty, parents and our friends in the community.

We will be honoring the classes of 2010, 2005, 2000, 1995, 1990, 1985, 1980, 1975 and 1970.

No matter how you know SUNY Cobleskill, we hope you’ll enjoy all of the great things we have planned!

Take note of two very special ribbon cutting ceremonies: Earl Hodder Greenhouse at 11:00am and the Van Wagenen Library Archives at 1:30pm and a Community Meet & Greet with Dr. Marion Terenzio, College President at 2:00pm in the Van Wagenen Library.

Schopinsky Brothers Alumni Run
In partnership with the FAM 5K “Fund” Run, SUNY Cobleskill is proud to promote the Schopinsky Brothers Alumni Run honoring Richard (‘60) and Gerald (‘61) Schopinsky. Race begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Cobleskill Fairgrounds on South Grand Street.

To participate in the Alumni Run:
1. Register for the FAM 5K at www.fam5k.com
2. Pick up your FAM 5K packet on race day (available at race between 8:15 and 9:30 a.m.)
3. Check in at the SUNY Cobleskill booth (between 8:15 and 9:30 a.m.)

The first 50 participants to check in at the SUNY Cobleskill booth will receive an Alumni Run t-shirt!

Explore the rich history of our academic programs and architecture by trolley! Pickup locations will be under the Alumni Commons Townhouse and Suites Pavilion.

9/11 Survivor Trees Observance
Join the campus in acknowledgment of 9/11 at the newly planted Survivor Trees, at the main college entrance adjacent to the granite marker.

An event celebrating local farmers and artisans, join us for our Schoharie Fresh Farmer’s Market. Several vendors will be on site.

Mini-Reunions at Grosvenor Art Gallery located in Old Gym. Three mini-reunion events to connect current students and faculty with alumni and emeriti. All are welcome.

Copies of the SUNY Cobleskill Centennial Book will be available for sale. Displays of historical campus photography and ephemera will be featured in the gallery. Light refreshments will be available.
